Hundred Dungeons (player packet alpha)
A downloadable game
Introducing Hundred Dungeons, a sword-and-sorcery hack of 5E with a focus on bringing exploration and social interaction back to the fore. It's a little bit old school, a little bit new school, and all about supporting the creativity of the humans at the table. Grab it for free and leave some feedback to help me tune and develop it further. All updates to the game will be included in this product for the original free/pay-what-you-want purchase.
This first player packet contains the rules for character creation and running the game, as well as conversion guidelines for using other d20 adventures and monsters. Future updates will include monsters, magic items, and guidance for Game Moderators to prepare and run excellent adventures.
This is a game in which players take on the role of audacious fantasy figures who venture into hidden places and draw forth awe-inspiring magic. It’s more sword-and-sorcery than high fantasy, more level-headed than silly — and while it emphasizes emergent play over pre-planned scenarios, the goal is for it to also be usable in running existing fantasy adventures.
Hundred Dungeons was created from the bones of other popular d20 fantasy games with the goals of remaining familiar to players who like those games, preserving a place for “low” or “anchored” fantasy, and keeping rules direct and easy to apply at the table.

I like home rules, but I don’t want to evaluate them in any way, I’m sure there will be people who like some things and not others.
